It's been a while. And there is no word of the day.
The important thing is that my granny is sick. And she told me "It's about time you learn to make the gumbo !"
This is a big step for me. Making the Christmas gumbo. Don't burn the roux ! Cut the meats right ! Make sure the veggies are right !
Tomorrow morning I will make my first Christmas gumbo ! I hope it's right ! It will never be ! I will be hung over, so it will be ok. I would tell you the recipe, but then I would have to kill you or something like that !
