In Dallas for a few days, so I will make this brief.
What is a yawn? or better yet, is yawning contagious?
There are many theories about yawning, but believe it or not, the more contagious we are to someone's yawn, the more empathy we have for them and/or the more we care for them. Try it out on your loved one's, or the people around you. I was yawning on the phone the other day with my mama, and neither one of us could even talk because we were both yawning too much ! I don't plan to try this on the first date, but maybe the second or third? So instead of catching someone's eye and flirting or buying them a drink, or showing some cleavage or whatever, cut to the chase and yawn at them. If they yawn back, it's safe to assume they like you, at which point you should ask them if they are tired, and if they want to go to bed !!! (jk)
The sun always shines !
Today when leaving Memphis, the weather was very dreary and cloudy. There was a huge "ceiling" of clouds at x number of feet. But when we broke through the cloud bank, nothing but beautiful sunshine could be seen. As far as I could see (a long way from 36,000 feet) was nothing but brilliant sunshine on top of the most gorgeous white cloud tops I have ever seen. It looked like we were flying over a million miles of fresh snow. I had never paid attention to this before, but it brought something to light. No matter how dull, dreary, and gray our lives seem, the sun is always shining above. And it will shine on us again !
